CSEET Syllabus 2024

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has updated the syllabus from November 2023. The new syllabus is available on their official website. The syllabus gives their students comprehensive guidance on the examination, required skills along with the key topics which are relevant in the professional field. The CSEET examination consist of Four major papers:

Few Important Points about CSEET Exam

  • The CSEET is conducted as a  Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

  • It is an objective based paper with multiple-choice format.

  • The examination is followed by a 15-minute viva voce to assess listening, writing, and oral communication skills. 

  • The test lasts for 120 minutes, with each question having one correct answer out of four options, carrying either one or two marks. 

  • There is no negative marking, allowing candidates to answer without the worry of losing marks for incorrect responses.

  • The viva voce portion focuses on evaluating presentation and communication abilities, and the exam is held at designated test centres.
