• CA stands for Chartered Accountant.
• Founded in 1949, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament and a professional accounting body offering the Chartered Accountant Qualification ( i.e. CA Course).
• A Chartered Accountant is a profession in the field of finance, tax and accounting. The profession keenly concentrates on preparation & auditing financial records, investing financial anomalies, financial forecasting, Tax planning, developing and maintaining financial system

The CA Qualification has been divided into 3 levels i.e. on has been divided into 3 levels i.e.

• CA Foundation Level - 4 Papers
• CA Intermediate Level- 8 Papers
• CA Final Level - 8 Papers

To appear for the CA Foundation Examination a candidate should have

• Qualified the 10+2 exams, PUC or Equivalent

To appear for the CA Intermediate Examination a candidate should have

• CA Foundation Pass or
• Secure Min 55% in Commerce Graduate/ Post Graduate & 9 Months Article ship or
• Secure Min 60% in Non-commerce Graduates/ Post Graduates & 9 Months Article ship

It takes 4 to 5 years to complete all the exams & other Training Programmes of the CA course.

• Exam fee: 1500 Rs

• Student’s Activity fee: 2000 Rs
• Registration Fee as article assistant: 1000 Rs
• Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft skills (ICITSS): 6500 Rs
• Exam fee: 2500 Rs

All paper based exams for papers are conducted 2 times a year in the months of May and November
