There are 14 ACCA exams in total, which include 13 papers spread across three levels, along with an ethics exam. Different levels of ACCA

The ACCA qualification is organized into three main levels:

  1. Applied Knowledge

  2. Applied Skills

  3. Strategic Professional

At each level, you’ll tackle several papers that you need to pass. Before you can become fully qualified, there’s also an ethics module to complete. ACCA recommends that you finish the Ethics and Professional Skills module before taking your Strategic Professional exams, but you can always choose to do it later if that works better for you.

Business and Technology (BT)

Financial Accounting (FA)

Management Accounting (MA)

You'll focus on business organization, structure, governance, and management, while considering environmental influences. You'll also cover a selected history of accounting and knowledge on managing a team.

You will review financial reporting, qualitative characteristics of financial information, and bases of accounting. Includes an overview of double entry, accounting systems, and how to prepare a trial balance, statements, and group accounting basics.

Covers the nature and purpose of cost and management accounting. Specifically cost classification, behavior, and purpose. This paper also includes a focus on business mathematics and electronic spreadsheets, cost-accounting techniques, and short-term decision-making methods.

 

Applied Skills Exams
