Canceling or Postponing

  1. Before the ACCA Standard Entry Deadline:

If you need to postpone your ACCA exam booking, it’s pretty straightforward. Just log into your MyACCA account, cancel your current booking, and the exam fees will be credited back to your account.

  1. After the ACCA Standard Entry Deadline:

Once the standard entry deadline has passed, you won’t be able to cancel your exam booking. However, if you find yourself unable to take the exam due to illness or issues involving another student’s behavior, you can reach out to the Examining Board for a review. They’ll look at your situation on a case-by-case basis to see if a resit or refund is appropriate.

What to Do If You Miss a Deadline

If you miss an exam registration deadline, you might have to wait until the next session to sign up again. However, if you miss the actual exam date due to unexpected circumstances, ACCA does allow for exam deferral in some cases. Just make sure to reach out to them as soon as possible. To avoid these kinds of situations, it’s helpful to stay familiar with the ACCA exam cycle and deadlines.
